Jess and Fritz were a complete joy to work with and photograph at their autumn farm wedding. Jess chose gorgeous burgundy and blush florals that complemented the setting, while the groom and groomsmen were outfitted in navy suits with coordinating ties and boutonnieres. I love this triumphant moment as they walked down the aisle. Even the trees celebrated by dressing up in their fall best.
They wanted an outdoor ceremony with a barn reception in Jess’ home state of New York, and they couldn’t have found a more perfect one than the Barn at Liberty Farms.
Built as a stallion barn, brides will be happy to learn that The Barn at Liberty Farms has been fully refinished and updated with modern amenities like air conditioning and heat. Every section of space has been well planned out – from the rustic modern bathroom vanities to the pendant light fixtures in the dressing rooms. But in this sleek new modern version, original elements remain – just enough to keep this venue a bit country, and a bit rustic. Medium wood paneling covers the barn walls, keeping it’s original character, while remaining horse stalls section of the end of the space and provide authentic rustic charm.
One incredibly unique and truly fun perk to having your event in The Barn at Liberty Farms – including their produce in your meal. As a working organic farm, the venue staff are happy to connect with your chosen caterer to find ways to bring in homegrown elements – it’s literally farm-to-table.
If accommodation are needed, Liberty Farms offers five luxury tents complete with decks and private bathrooms. They also own a newly remodeled four-bedroom house just a mile away which the bridal party can rent.
Voted one of WeddingWire’s 2018 Couple’s Choice award winners, it’s easy to see how this Hudson valley barn venue has become a local favorite.
