To be the Best New Haven Engagement Photographer, one must find the artistic appeal in every captured moment. This photo of a Connecticut couple was taken with them standing outside of an old building in New Haven and me taking their picture from inside. New Haven is a historic Connecticut location with ample opportunities for the Best New Haven Engagement Photographer to take unique, meaningful pictures. This particular couple especially wanted artistic takes on their photos, so we wandered the iconic city in search of settings that offered opportunities for incorporating different shapes, shadows, and scenes. In this image, The bride and groom stand in the dark, each looking into a warmly lit space. The light from within the room illuminates the faces of the two, who are both framed by a thick white window pane. One window separates the couple, and they gaze straight ahead, the expressions on their faces stoic. The lines that surround the bride and groom are all black and off-white. It is like the images of their individual faces are actually portraits that hand on the wall in one of New Haven’s historic buildings. Their love is timeless and blooms with individuality; theirs is a relationship that was made in the stars.
