A Darien Wedding Photographer takes pictures that show off the splendor of the Connecticut coastline. As the Darien Wedding Photographer for bride and groom Stephanie Pugliese and Casey O’Donnell, I captured beautiful scenes and incredible moments throughout their July 7th wedding day. The couple was married in a traditional church ceremony on a sunny Saturday in 2012 at Sacred Heart Church in Greenwich, Connecticut. Following the ceremony, I took the newlyweds to Tod’s Point for portraits before they began to make their way to the wedding reception at the Greenwich Hyatt. This photo of the bride and groom shows them dancing on a white-washed wooden bridge on the grounds of what locals call Tod’s Point. The area is more officially known as Greenwich Point Park, but because it was once owned and developed by J. Kennedy Tod and his wife, Marie Tod, the location garnered the name Tod’s Point. This picture displays the serene beauty of the location, and Stephanie and Casey make that scene all the more lovely. In the photograph, Casey waltzes with his bride, sharing a tender moment alone with her as the fresh sea air brushes over them. Behind them the water and sky provide a background of pale blue, and they are framed on either side of the bridge by low growing foliage. Shadows dance with them as they sway on the bridge, immersed in the joy of this single moment. In this instant the pair are carefree and filled with the magic of this day that marks an exciting new chapter in their story.
