A Greenwich Connecticut Wedding Photographer has the opportunity to experience many of the wonders that can be captured along Connecticut’s shoreline. One of the most beautiful places to photograph for a Greenwich Connecticut Wedding Photographer is Todd’s Point. Formally known as Greenwich Point, Todd’s Point earned its nickname because of its former owners John Kennedy Todd and his wife Maria Todd. The Todd’s purchased their residence in Greenwich for the purpose of having a retreat from the hustle and bustle of New York City. J. Kennedy Todd acquired the property over the course of a few years, and he eventually built an estate which he and his wife dubbed Innis Arden. Todd was responsible for a majority of the construction on the peninsula and for connecting the area to the mainland, all which led to the spot being called by his name. Bride and groom Stephanie and Casey, who are pictured here, held a Marriage of the Spirit Ceremony on Todd’s Point in the summer of 2012. The couple participated in this nature, spirit based ceremony a few days before having a more traditional church ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Greenwich. This image was taken after their enchanting Todd’s Point ceremony. The picture perfectly captures the pure spirituality of the day, and the natural magic in this moment. In the photo, Casey kisses Stephanie tenderly on rocks overlooking the water, but the angle of the camera cuts the rocks out of the image and all that can be seen is the expanse of cloud and sky that serve as a backdrop for the soon-to-be-newlyweds. It is as though the two are floating through the air, lifted up by their incredible love.
