New York Subway Wedding Pics display the unique character of New York City. The New York Subway Wedding Pics that were taken on the wedding day of Amy Stack and Robert Stribley document the travels of the bride and groom as they journeyed to and from their venue at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. In this photo from Amy and Robert’s July wedding day in 2012, Amy is seen standing in a subway car with her bridesmaids and friends as she makes her way to the venue. The bride and groom, being true New Yorkers, wanted their wedding day to feel unique to their individual story and decided that they would use public transportation to get to and from the events of their big day. In the image, Amy laughs with her friends, standing in her wedding gown, looking carefree and excited. She is at ease in the subway car, and she is giddy with the anticipation of what she will find when she walks back up to the city streets and steps into the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. The bride’s gown is sleeveless, with a sweetheart top and long layers of fabric that float around her, brushing over the ground at her feet. Her bridesmaid’s ride the subway with her, and they carry all that she might need as the evening progresses. The scene is mostly an ordinary one, with Amy and her girl friends enjoying one another’s company as they travel beneath the city. This is something that these ladies have done numerous times together. The difference is that on this particular day Amy is wearing a wedding dress, and she will soon be marrying the love of her life.
