A Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding displays a hidden gem of northern New Jersey. The estate was established in the 1900s as “Pleasantdale Farms”. In 1994 the property was purchased by a well-known local family who renovated the chateau and turned it into the enchanting special occasion venue it is today. Aside from its gorgeous grounds and gardens, the highlight of the estate is its Grand Ballroom. This room is uniquely special for any event, with a self-supporting octagonal design and English Georgian architectural style. The Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding of Maria and Gavin took place on Friday, September 17, 2011. It was a beautiful day in West orange, New Jersey, with the summer slowly saying its farewell and the autum tip toeing in. The couple were married at Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange for a traditional church wedding ceremony. This image shows the bride and groom joyfully departing the church as husband and wife. The afternoon sun beams down on the scene, giving it a golden glow. The stone structure of the church rises up behind the newlyweds, as family and friends cheer and watch as they step forward in marriage. The groom, Gavin, wears a black tuxedo in the image, with a black bow tie and a huge smile on his face. The bride, Maria, wears a wedding gown fit for a princess, with layers of tulle and delicate gems. Maria also radiates happiness, and both the bride and groom are ready to continue the celebration of their love at the Pleasantdale Chateau.
