The city of Honolulu is filled with sights, sounds, and incredible Hawaiian scenery. These factors make pictures from a wedding in Honolulu simply exquisite. The lively and picturesque setting should not, however, take away from the intimate moments that add to the wonder of a specific couple’s wedding celebration. As the Top Wedding Photographer in Honolulu for Elyse Butler and Matt Mallams, I took this picture of their wedding rings. The groom’s ring is a simple silver band, and it is a bit thicker and larger in circumference than the rings that are attributed to the bride. The bride’s rings are formed with simple gold bands. The band of Elyse’s wedding ring is unique in its shape, with slight bends in the metal. The matching gold engagement ring has the same coloring as the wedding ring that Elyse will soon wear, but the band of this ring is smooth and a little more thin. On the band a pale sapphire sits, encased in a gold setting that takes an almost triangular shape with rounded edges. All three of the rings sit on a vibrant green leaf that was found in the area where the couple’s ceremony was held. The bride and groom said “I do” on the beach, with their friends and family surrounding them in love and support. These rings are symbols of that love, and of the love that joins Elyse and Matt together as husband and wife.
